About me

To give you a flavour of what these tools have done for me I’ll talk you through my soul’s journey, which has brought me to this point, talking to you right now.

Growing up I never felt like I fit in with my family or with the world at large. I didn’t seem to understand normal social conventions, was very shy, and found my inner world far more comforting than the noisy outer world I grew up in. There seemed to be rules for everything, and they often felt like rules I couldn’t see but frequently fell foul of. As I grew older I became more and more aware of the polarity within me. There was the part of me having to be in the world, pass exams, and navigate my way through awkward social interactions. And there was the inner part of me desperately searching for some sense of connection, of belonging, a yearning for something I sensed was more powerful than anything around me, the silent life force that flowed throughout all living things.

I did what was expected of me - passed my exams, went to university and got myself a veterinary degree. When that didn’t salve my sense of unease, I turned to wildlife research, but the pressure to publish, the egos, and the politics left me stressed, burned out, and again searching for something more. That feeling of unease was compounded by motherhood - first juggling a 2 year old and a new job, and then a demanding newborn who wouldn’t fit into the conventional life I had tried to construct for myself.

Motherhood was in many ways the unexpected catalyst for my transformation. No longer able to maintain the pace of keeping up with the constraints of work, I found myself questioning what my values were as a person,

what example I wanted to set for my children, how to nourish and nurture new life, and how to care for our health without relying on dismissive and distracted doctors. When allopathic medicine didn’t work for my son’s eczema or my daughter’s croup, I turned to the internet trying to find answers for myself. And that’s where I discovered the (then) mysterious and unknown field of herbal medicine. A more natural way of living then became my way of connecting to the grace of Nature and healing from within, whilst treating the sniffles and wounds of my family.

Then a funny thing happened. The plants began to whisper to me, and they spoke of a world far beyond that which I had ever imagined. Imagine a world in which you are loved, held, and supported more than you ever have been in your life. Imagine a world in which you have access to powers

you never thought possible. Imagine a world in which parts of you

exist in other dimensions. Imagine your heart blossoming open

and connecting to all life no matter how small. Imagine following

the guidance of your heart and soul and finding fulfilment, purpose,

and belonging in the path that gently unfolds before you. Imagine then,

how amazing life in this world would feel. And so I stumbled, fumbled, and crawled my way towards the Light. Howling with anger and crying more tears than I ever have in my life. Sharing my inner pain with strangers and finding the healing that can only come from unconditional love.

It has not been an easy path and I am still opening up to all the possibilities that connecting with my inner Spirit has to offer. But I do know that I am much happier and much more fulfilled than I ever have been, and I’m excited to see what is in store for the next half of my life. I have also been far more

challenged and have had to face some deeply painful emotions

that I would rather have ignored. But on the other side of the pain

and the torment lies peace, connection, a new name, a sense of place

and purpose, and a desire to do what I can to help others feel the same.

I truly believe that we are not in this world to suffer and struggle until we cross the veil.

We are here to experience, to learn, to grow, to expand, and to do what we can

to advance the consciousness of all humanity to a higher plane. My purpose here is to help you to see that for yourself, so that you can reconnect with the unique superpowers within, and shine your light for all to see.
